Why does my rabbit always pee on people?

Does anyone know why my rabbit will always pee on my boyfriend? he seems to do it even if hes just peed in his cage? He is a very clean bunny, is very friendly and loves people's company, its just quite frustrating for my bf. THanks :)Why does my rabbit always pee on people?

is a very good site about rabbits, has a lot on behavior, health, feeding, rabbit proofing...it is easy to use, no sign in, just click on stuff and learn.

Has your rabbit been spayed/neutered? This is one of the most common things with intact rabbit, and one of the easiest to fix.

If you cannot alter the rabbit, try changing the boyfriends approach. I know that most rabbits do not like being held, or picked up, if that is something he is doing, rabbit might have learned to pee on him to get put down. (they learn good and bad stuff very quickly)Try to see what is triggering it, and go around it, stop it before it happens.

I would start with fixing (rabbit) before trying other stuff, though, as that is the most common reason for marking things. Why does my rabbit always pee on people?
Is he neutered? He's marking his territory (your boyfriend). I would guess your boyfriend smells like another animal, perhaps. If he's not neutered, it will help, but it takes a couple of months before you will notice a difference as the hormones need time to leave their bodies.
Your rabbit is probably scared of him.... either that or he just loves you so much and is protective of you.
It means they like them and they are comfortable being around them
this is impossible unless your bf is laying in the rabbit's home!
Well, your rabbit is trying to get to know him. =]
He is scared, that's why. All animals do that when they are nervous
