Hi im just wondering if a racoon would kill a rabbit?

hi i have a cage for my rabbits in the backyard and the other day my boyfriend came out and saw one of my rabbits torn apart and he had died, i was wondering what wud do that, we have racoons that come around could they of done that to my rabbit?Hi im just wondering if a racoon would kill a rabbit?
Yes, it is possible for racoons to kill small animals, even animals close to their own size. My neighbors cat was attacked and killed by a large racoon. You may not want to keep your rabbit outside if you know there are racoons around. They are very crafty animals and can figure out how to manipulate and open cages. It also could have been a dog or cyote if those are in your area.Hi im just wondering if a racoon would kill a rabbit?
No, not likely a coon. Coons go after garbage, insects, small fish and that kind of thing. Not rabbits. This was more likely a fox or a dog.
im soo sorry for your rabbit

i know someone who had a rabbit

it died the same way except a coyote did it

i dont think a racoon would be so vicious
