Hi,

You can move them. My guess is that you have to move them or they are all going to die anyway am I correct?

We move does and babies all the time. If it is cold outside and we are afraid they are going to freeze we bring them inside. After the babies have fur we move them back out. Some of them we bring the whole nest box in the house and only take it out to the mom once a day.

People mistakingly believe that rabbits will reject their babies if they are touched. This is an old wives tale. If you feel like she is more inquisitive after you touch them you can rub her fur on the babies to hide your scent.

You are going to find that most mother rabbits are indeed protective of their babies but they are not going to hurt them because you touch them. They are more likely to take your hand off by biting you.

Good luckWe are moving can i move mommy rabbit and newborn babies?
idk if she is outside or inside but this will be hard. you first have to try to pet her and be nice to her like give her treats and show her alot of love then start trying to tuch her babys but this will take time b4 you just go in and grab them you should be able to hold them (i raise rabbits and my rabbits know who i am and i just grab the babys so i coud check on them) try to take there nestbox and put it in a new cage with mom and try not to have to move them to much you dont want to move them from cage to cage or mom wont want them. try not to have to meny people hold them. i hope this helps.
Not without risking her freaking out and abandoning them- it's going to be a struggle. Not only because she may not like human scent on them, but even if she didn't reject them because of that, the actual process of moving is unnerving enough for an animal who HASN'T got a litter.
hi there!! you have to move them but the best thing to do is clean out her hutch and put that same stuff into the new hutch so she can still smell her own smell again and she will smell the kits smell to and when you move the kits make sure you rub your hands in her poo before you start all my rabbits will let me touch there kits but i would were a glove and rub my hands in her litter tray before i would start!! good luck and i think they will be fine! is it her 1st litter??
She Just Gave Birth For God Sake...

Wait 1-2 Weeks
