Can a small breed rabbit and a quinea pig live together?

I have had both rabbits and guinea pigs as pets but at different time and wonder if they can live peacefully together. Can a small breed rabbit and a quinea pig live together?
Guinea pigs and rabbits shouldn't be housed together.

--Rabbits' hind legs, which they get feisty with, can injure a guinea pig.

--Rabbits and guinea pigs require different food pellets, which are formulated for each species' dietary needs. If you have them in the same cage, there's no way to separate servings.

--Rabbits have big appetites, leading them to hog the food (theirs and the guinea pig's) and leave the guinea pig underfed.

--While rabbits and guinea pigs can eat many of the same veggies and fruits, there are some things that rabbits can digest easily and safely that guinea pigs cannot. If you have them in the same cage, there's no way to separate servings.

There's nothing saying they can't live in side-by-side cages. However, both animals do better with roommates of their own species...you'd be fairer to the animals if you got a pair of rabbits OR a pair of guinea pigs OR (if you're feeling ambitious and wealthy) a pair of each.

no they cannot live togeather
Simple answer -- NO! Rabbits have a very strong kick, and if your guinea pig is kicked it can be badly injured or even killed. Please don't risk hurting your guinea pig just so they can live together. Also, they both eat different types of pellets and food.
Yeah but don't put a guinea pig in with a male rabbit.
I had two dwarf bunnies and a guinea pig living together in a huge two level cage. They got along great. Do give your pig some places to get into that the bunny can't get in. Mine would go sleep in a ferret tube when the bunnies got too energetic. As for different food guinea pig pellets are the same as rabbit pellets except for vit c levels. My vet gave the okay to feed pig pellets to the rabbits. They also got timothy hay, fresh fruits and veggies, and one vit c water bottle and a plain water bottle. They lived peacfully together for years.
People do say that they can, but honestly think about it. Rabbits have strong legs and if they are just hopping around what happens if they hurt the guinea pig or it feels threatened and kicks the guinea pig it could hurt it and may be fatal. I really wouldnt.
Most of the time they can live peacefully together, but once in a while they get bad tempers and can't stand each other (of course depending on their temperment). If they both seem very nice and tame then it is probably ok. \

Small furry animals such as those get along with each other and enjoy partners and cagemates., but always need to be under supervision during the first week or two until they get to know each other.
my male rabbit lived with a female guinea pig for 2 years until she passed away( not because of him) vet gave the ok for them to live together. he was heartbroken when she died.
